The Library staff are dedicated to the school community - students, staff and parents. The development of 'life long' learning and 'the joy of reading' are highly valued. It is their aim to provide a range of quality resources, services and facilities that meet the needs of our school community.
Resources include Non-Fiction, Fiction, Reference Books, Magazines (hard copy and online), Newspapers, CD-ROM, Video and On-line Databases. Services that are offered include reference assistance, information and research skills instruction, laminating and photocopying.
Facilities include Kindy - Year 3 and Years 4 -12 reading and studying areas, access to computers including internet, Microsoft functions and selected networked learning tools.
The facilities are in constant use, with students eager to use the computers to access the internet for school research and preparation of assignments. There is hardly ever a spare computer - even during lunch time!
Subject study guides are available for students to use and tips for more effective study habits are displayed.
The Kindy - Year 3 and Years 4 - 12 areas have numerous board games for students to use during their lunchtime breaks. Chess and Labyrinth are very popular with students.
