Pocket City Farm
This week, Year 8 attended Pocket City Farm in Camperdown. Students had the opportunity to engage in a range of hands-on experiences during the day.
This excursion aligns closely with the Mandatory Technology syllabus (Agriculture and Food Technologies). Students participated in aspects of farming and local, sustainable food production in an area close to a densely populated region (actually a former lawn bowls venue in Camperdown).
Students enjoyed activities such as planting seedlings and also had the opportunity to pick and eat produce including grapes and sorrel.
The students were fantastic and represented our school well.
