Year 7 Camp
Overview
- 5 day camp at Yarrahapinni Youth Centre (Stuarts Point)
- Term 1 Week 3 - Monday, 12 to Friday, 16 February 2024
- The camp cost is included in school fees
- Some Year 11 students attend camp in mentoring roles
Activities at camp include:
- Kneeboarding and tubing
- Beach activities
- High and low ropes course
- Waterslide
- Kayaking
- Mountain biking
- Night program and opportunity to experience God
We have camp early in the term for the following reasons:
- Students are challenged individually and in groups
- Students learn new skills
- Students learn about and experience 'The CCAS Way' (school culture)
- Students try new things and step out of their comfort zone
- Students develop new friendships and strengthen existing ones
- Students build relationships with staff and Year 11 students
