Course Summary

Business activity is a feature of everyone's life. The Business Studies syllabus encompasses the theoretical and practical aspects of business in ways students encounter throughout their lives. It offers learning from planning a small business to the management of operations, marketing, finance, and human resource in large businesses. 

Assessment will be a mix of hand in assessment tasks and examination.

What, if any, skills are needed?

The ability to:

  • Investigate, synthesise and evaluate contemporary business issues and hypothetical and actual business situations.
  • Communicate business information and issues using appropriate formats.
  • Apply mathematical concepts appropriate to business situations.
