Industrial Technology (Multimedia)

2 unit course

Course Summary

Industrial Technology (Multimedia) is a balance of creativity, design, and digital media. Our vision for the students is that they will be conceptually and technically equipped to tell powerful stories through photography, film, print, and animation. They achieve this through a major project in Year 12 which is marked externally.

In both years, the industry study takes about one-fifth of our time. In Year 11, the minor project goes for about 14 weeks. In Year 12, two-thirds of our class time is devoted to planning and creating your major work.

The Preliminary year is designed to cater to all students (no prior experience is required). Thus, it has been structured to provide all students with the necessary foundational skills to further explore in their HSC year.

What, if any, skills are needed?
